BiographyHometown: Wallingford, CT Undergraduate Institution: Stonehill College, North Easton, MA Future Plans: Currently interested in colorectal, but am excited to explore all specialties! Why UMASS?: I completed a rotation at UMass during my fourth year of medical school and immediately knew it was the program for me. The volume and variety of cases, along with the skill and dedication of the attendings and residents, made it clear that UMass provides outstanding surgical training. What really stood out, though, was the culture of the program. Everyone I interacted with—from attendings and residents to administrators and other healthcare professionals—was welcoming, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping residents succeed. This program pushes you to learn and improve every day, but does so in a way that is both encouraging and enjoyable. I am excited to become part of the UMass family! Favorite thing to do in Worcester: I haven’t spent a ton of time in Worcester yet, but I am excited to explore the food scene!
