Biography Hometown: Red Deer, Alberta, Canada Other Degrees & Info: Currently completing a research year in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/ Harvard Medical School. Future Plans: Otolaryngology. Why UMASS?: UMass stood out to me because of the high case volume, strong mentorship, and great research opportunities. I wanted to train at a program that would give me a very strong surgical foundation and push me to grow both technically and clinically. I also liked how supportive and down-to-earth the residents and faculty were during my interactions with the program, and Central Massachusetts felt like a great place to train and live. Favorite thing to do in Worcester: Not sure yet! Can’t wait to check out lake Quinsig though!
