Congrats to Diagnostic Radiology Resident Christine Yao, MD on being selected to present her paper titled “Waste Reduction in Radiology”, part of education case series at Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).
Jay Patel, fourth year UMass Chan medical student, along with radiology faculty Dr. Chris Sereni, Dr. Elisabeth Garwood, and Dr. Ryan Tai, presented an education exhibit titled “Radiology Dashboards: Applications in Advocacy for Healthcare Disparities in Image Utilization” at RSNA. This exhibit was awarded the Cum Laude award. Per the RSNA, of the 1,654 education exhibits, the awards committee chose to present 17 Magna Cum Laude awards; 48 Cum Laude awards; and 214 Certificate of Merit awards.
Department Chair Max Rosen hosted a dinner at RSNA for staff, alumni and friends of UMass Radiology.
