Thanks for Mammography Technologist

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to commend one of your mammography technicians, Leah Berthiume, on a job well done.

My dad (age 89) and I recently brought my mom, age 86, in for a diagnostic mammogram. As you can imagine, a mammogram for an elderly woman that was resisting keeping the appointment in the first place, can be challenging.

My mom was assigned to Ms. Berthiume, which turned out to be a blessing. Leah was caring, patient, responsive to my mom's anxiety about the procedure, informative about what to expect during our time there, and just plain kind. This was the most positive experience that my mom has had with mammograms, something that typically causes her great stress. We attribute this to the care provided by Ms. Berthiume. As a matter of fact, my mom even mentioned Leah again two days after the fact, so I know she had a positive impact!

We didn't fill out a survey on the way out, as both parents were getting anxious, so I wanted to make sure to write and let you know how much we appreciated Leah and her wonderful skills, not only with regard to her profession, but her caring demeanor as well.
