Date Posted: Monday, March 27, 2017
Pediatric Division Chief Jean-Marc Gauget, MD and Pediatric Radiologist Farhana Riaz, MD (both standing) work with SVH Radiology Resident, Neha Modi, MD, PGY2 graduate of Topiwala National Medial College in Mumbai, India. |
The UMMS Department of Radiology is providing St. Vincent Hospital Radiology Residents an opportunity to work with the Pediatric Radiology Faculty.
The residents will work directly with and under the supervision of the attending Pediatric Radiology staff as they interpret diagnostic radiology images, with the goal of improving the residents’ skill in all facets of radiologic imaging and diagnosis. They will partipate in conferences and be treated like a UMass resident while they are here.
The SVH residents will spend a month, each year, for three years rotating with Pediatric Radiologists. This will allow the residents to develop their skills over several years. Previously the SVH residents spent a 3 month block at Boston Children's Hospital.
