UMass Chan at Association of University Radiologists Meeting
Date Posted: Monday, August 28, 2017Radiology Faculty, Staff and a Medical Student represented UMMS at the 65th Annual Meeting of the Association for University Radiologists this past May in Hollywood, Florida.
Carolynn DeBenedectis, MD was an invited lecturer to present a talk entitled The Consultant Radiologist – An Integral Member of the Interprofessional Team. Dr. DeBenedectis was also Moderator of the resident education scientific session and e-poster session.
The AUR Annual Meeting is a great place to share ideas and collaborate with colleagues. The theme for the 2017 meeting is “Leading Change and Bringing Value.” The program addresses how academic radiology communities lead the way in the rapidly changing health care environment and add value to patients and overall health care systems. Drs. Max Rosen, Carolynn DeBenedectis, Christopher Cerniglia, Joshua Leeman, Hemang Kotecha, Elizabeth Juan and Gabrielle Carbone (Radiology Residency and Medical Student Coordinator) attended from UMass.
