Programmable Computer Mouse Eases Tasks for Radiologists
Dr. Andrew Chen initiated a special group quality project several years ago that proposed finding new technologies to improve the effectiveness of radiologists. This project focused on finding a substitute for the current mouse that may improve productivity. With the assistance of fourth year medical student Ella Kipervasser, more than 20 input devices were tested and evaluated. The results of this project were recently published on the Radiology website. Ms. Kipervasser created a tutorial for programming the commercially available mouse chosen from this research.
