Review of OSCEs by iCELs policy

• The criteria for requesting an OSCE regrade includes a concern about an SP, an OSCE disruption or a technical issue not addressed in real time. OSCEs are not regraded for the sole purpose of grade adjustments.
• Students can submit a written request for approval to their clerkship director.
• If approved the clerkship director will follow up with iCELS who will complete the review.
• Students falling below the cut off will be reviewed by the clerkship director.
• Students will be advised that a grade review has 3 outcomes (no changes, an increase or a decrease).
• Students will have 14 days after the final OSCE grade has been posted to submit a request for a regrade.
• Students can request to watch their encounters. This takes place in iCELS. Student are not permitted to take any notes during their review.
