Clerkship in Obstetrics and Gynecology
The Vista OBGYN clerkship is a four-week course focusing on care of the gynecologic and obstetric patient. The rotation will include approximately three weeks of inpatient care including labor management, delivery, antepartum and postpartum care, gynecologic surgery, and consultation. The rotation will include approximately one week of ambulatory OBGYN training. Students will be assigned to sites throughout Massachusetts. Students will participate in the core didactic curriculum.
Assessment will include standard Vista grading weights and components including an oral exam which is work 10% of the grade. Student Performance Evaluation 45%, NBME 15%, OSCE 20%, Oral exam 10% Longitudinal Focus Topic Assessment 10%.
