A Letter From Our Program Director
Welcome to The UMass Chan Medical School Geriatric Fellowship. Accredited since 2010, our fellowship focuses on maximizing the health of older adults as they navigate across the continuum of care. Fellows learn the principles of Geriatric Medicine through a combination of longitudinal and block clinical care experiences in the outpatient, inpatient, home, long-term care, and subacute care settings. Fellows work closely with Division and other UMass faculty and community resources and have opportunities for teaching medical students and residents. Additional learning activities include the Geriatric Medicine Conference series, Quality Improvement Project, Teachers of Tomorrow, core didactic lectures and research conferences.
