Areas of Research

Research is a growing area of interest for physicians in the Division of General Internal Medicine. Our primary care practice serves as a laboratory for quality improvement and education research, and as an academic primary care practice we collaborate across all divisions and departments.

Current areas of interest include:

• chronic disease management
• hypertension
• hyperlipidemia

Our physician-scientists also have additional opportunities to explore their research interests through our partnership with the Division of Health Systems Science.
