Vista Assessments
- Attendance-only participation points will weigh 15-20% of total block grade
- Skill-based assessment points will weigh up to 85% of total block grade
- Blanket bonus points will not be offered for an assessment or course
- To obtain credit for a block, all of the following criteria should be fulfilled:
- Obtain ≥ 75% total block grade
- Completion of all mandatory live-participation sessions or equivalent makeup
- Completion of all required assignments or equivalent makeup
- Completion of evaluation for the block

- End-of-block NBME exams will weigh 5% for P1 through BII, 10% for SMS through GI, and 15% for CVS through endo-repro

- BII through GI – 60 questions (1.5 hours)
- CVS through Endo/Repro – 80 questions (2 hours)
- Intra-block formative assessments
- Minimum one per week with substantial feedback
- Examples – practice quizzes (with rationale), self-assessments, pre-reading questions, consolidation questions, assignments, IODs (image-of-the-day), practice practicals, flashcards, U-World questions
- Minimum one per week with substantial feedback
- Intra-block narrative assessments
- Minimum one per block – desirable to have earlier within the block
- Examples of sessions that can generate narrative feedback/assessment – PBL, SIM, core small group sessions, conferences
