EDUCATION 

The Department is proud to offer a full-spectrum of medical education activities that includes medical student teaching, diverse residency programs and fellowship training, CME opportunities and robust faculty development programs.  While most of our programming for UMass Chan students is only accessible on our Intranet, we hope you will gain a flavor for our teachings from this internet site.  For those interested in pursuing a post-graduate medical education program, we offer residencies in Family Medicine and Preventive Medicine; along with fellowship programs in Sports Medicine and Preventive Medicine.  An MPH program is taught through our department on the Worcester campus but the degree is granted from our sister UMass campus in Amherst and is available to all Medical School learners.

CME activities include our weekly Grand Rounds and annual ABFM Board Preps, Maintenance of Certification workshops and "Annual Primary Care Days."  Grand Rounds are held every Tuesday at Noon - watch for announcement regarding other events.
