Warren J. Ferguson Visiting Professorship
The Annual Warren J. Ferguson Community Health Professorship was developed to honor the life work of Warren J. Ferguson MD, Professor Emeritus and the first Vice Chair of Community Health for the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health.
This day long funded professorship includes giving Grand Rounds, meeting with department leadership, a lunch meeting with other faculty, and an educational session with students and residents.
The goal of the professorship is to inspire learners, faculty, and leadership in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health, and beyond, to grow their interest in engaging with the community to improve the health and wellness of all people by addressing the social determinants of health.
