Our team of thyroidologists at UMass Memorial Medical Center, in Worcester, MA, has extensive clinical experience in caring for patients with thyroid and parathyroid disorders.

Our Thyroid Center is accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, one of the pre-eminent, national accreditation bodies for ultrasound practices. The voluntary peer review process encourages practices to meet or exceed nationally recognized standards in performing and interpreting diagnostic ultrasounds.
Additionally, our specialists are recipients of the endocrine certification in neck ultrasound. Certification is awarded to physicians who pass a standardized examination and achieve validation of competencies in diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration.
