Worcester Area
Worcester is New England’s second largest city. Its varied history includes inventions as the rocket engine, production of shredded wheat, and design of the smiley face. The city is in a period of significant renewal, with outstanding restaurants, theatres and art galleries. It’s still gritty enough to be both interesting and affordable. Many of us live in Worcester itself, while others take advantage of the proximity to Boston (an hour drive away) or the more rural suburbs.
