Vitiligo Clinic & Research Center

The Vitiligo Clinic and Research Center at UMass Chan Medical School is focused on two things – the clinical diagnosis and treatment of patients with vitiligo, and the study of vitiligo with the goal of developing new treatments.

The Director of the Center is Dr. John E. Harris, who sees patients with vitiligo in a weekly specialty clinic, and also directs a research laboratory focused on vitiligo.

Dr. Dori Goldberg is a procedural dermatologist who is helping to bring procedural and surgical options for vitiligo patients to the Center.

In addition, other dermatology faculty in the Dermatology Division at UMass Chan help to treat patients with vitiligo as well, with specialty training in pediatrics, analysis of skin biopsies, surgical removal of skin cancers, and the diagnosis of other diseases that may look like vitiligo.
