Welcome to the Urology Residency Program at UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester, MA!  We truly appreciate your interest and would love to have you join us.  Here at UMass, we are a tight-knit family, and we are so excited to welcome our next urology residents.  Worcester is a fun, livable, small city with lots to do and tons of great opportunities.  It's certainly an excellent city in which to train.  My wife and I have loved living Worcester and it is a great place to raise a family (if that is in your plans)!

One of the most impressive aspects of our program is the breadth of cases and diversity of patients and pathologies that are seen here.  You will, no doubt, become an amazing clinician and surgeon from your training here.  We have had graduating chiefs enter both competitive fellowships and private practice.  Because of the size of our program, our faculty come to know ans care about each of us - not only on a professional level, but on a personal level as well - and are eager to see us achieve our own versions of success.  You are supported in everything you choose to do here.

I'd strongly encourage all budding urologists  to look closely at our program.  I truly believe that I would not have received the same individualized and well-rounded training had I not trained here at UMass.  I could not be prouder of the department that I have called my home over the last few years, and I cannot wait to see who gets to join our family next.  Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or would like to learn more!
