Elective Description: This is an independent study elective that will allow 4th year students to revisit basic anatomy by participating as a laboratory instructor in the DSF course and to investigate advanced anatomy topics in their preferred clinical specialty. The elective coordinator will work with the student to design the specific project and will provide guidance, instruction and supervision as needed. The student is expected to be able to work independently. Elective assignments will include:

Note: This elective can be taken as a 4-week elective in the months noted above or as two 2-week offerings in E2A and E2B. Students are encouraged to choose the 2-week period during which the topics covered in the DSF program most closely coorespond to their clinical interests. |
