Marsha Ellison is Co-Project Director on $2.5 NIDILRR grant to establish the Center on Knowledge Translation on Employment Research
Date Posted: Friday, October 30, 2020Marsha Ellison, iSPARC researcher and Director of Knowledge Translation, is co-project director for a new national center that will bolster efforts to improve employment outcomes for people with disabilities. A five-year, $2.5 million grant from the National Institute on Disability Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) will help establish the Center on Knowledge Translation on Employment Research (CeKTER). Marsha Ellison is collaborating on CeKTER with lead grantee and project Co-Director Marianne Farkas, clinical professor and director of training, dissemination and technical assistance for the Boston University Sargent College of Rehabilitation Sciences Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation.
CeKTER will provide support and technical assistance to employment researchers who interface with disability-serving agencies nationwide which will increase adoption and use of evidenced-based research by disability employment stakeholders.
