Dr. Johanna M. Seddon was awarded the 2024 WIO 2024 Scientific Contribution Award in Chicago, IL.

Tianxiao Huan, PhD, has been awarded the 2021 grant by the Worcester Foundation.

The Future Vision Foundation awarded Dr. Seddon the 2019 Award.

Dr. Johanna Seddon was inducted as a member into the celebrated American Ophthalmological Society (AOS) for her distinguished contributions to the fields of ophthalmology, retina and macular degeneration.

Dr. Johanna Seddon was awarded with 2017 ARVO Mildred Weisenfeld Award for her contributions in the field of macular degeneration. She also presented a scientific lecture titled “Macular Degeneration Epidemiology: Nature-Nurture, Lifestyle Factors, Genetic Risk and Gene-Environment Interactions” at Baltimore Convention Center.
