About Us
The staff of the Radio Labeling Small Animal Imaging Core Facility are committed to providing complete small animal imaging capability to researchers within and without the UMass Chan system. For the present, this includes consultation services to assist researchers in designing imaging studies that are appropriate for their goals, limited labeling services and data acquisition and analysis.
In the future, we intend to expand our labeling services to better assist those researchers without the expertise or without the interest in labeling biomarkers with single photon or positron radionuclides or with fluorophores.
We also intend to expand our data analysis capabilities to provide researchers with more comprehensive final reports adjusted to their needs. In addition, through seminars, lectures and hands-on demonstrations, we intend to advertise to the research community the potential of small animal imaging in drug development.

Mary Rusckowski, PhDMary Rusckowski is an Associate Professor, Department of Radiology at UMass Chan is experienced both in radiopharmaceutical development and in animal imaging. She serves as Director of the Core.
