Teaching Seminars
Below is a list of lectrues, conference and seminars available to fellows. All fellows, UMass renal faculty And UMass affiliated nephrologists from the region participate in weekly conferences. There is usually 20-30 participants. These conferences will be on Zoom until further notice.
Combined Nephrology and Transplant Conference:
Weekly conference where UMass-affiliated nephrologists from the region present current articles and interesting cases. Fellows actively participate in preparation and presentation of cases. Nephropathology review is moderated by renal pathology staff.
Seminars in Nephrology:
Regional and national experts are invited to give monthly lectures on various cutting-edge topics of interest to nephrologists.
Fellow Lecture Series:
Weekly review of renal curriculum. Topics are prepared and presented by fellows and faculty.
Board Review Series:
Faculty-lead weekly review of board-style questions.
Pathology Seminars:
Seminars with thorough review of cases lead by renal pathologist. Fellows are actively involved in selection and preparation of cases.
Morbidity and Mortality Conference:
Faculty-lead conference. Fellows participate in preparation of a case.
Quality Improvement and Research Seminar:
Monthly seminar where fellows and faculty present updates on their QI and clinical research activities.
