Departmental Women's Faculty Committee
The Psychiatry Women's Faculty Committee is comprised of female clinicians and researchers from both the clinical and medical school systems of UMass Chan. It is our mission to advance the role of women in the Department of Psychiatry, to promote networking and collaboration among these faculty members, and to support the needs of female faculty in the Department. We meet monthly to discuss topics of relevance to women faculty (e.g., career advancement, communication, self-promotion, building effective mentorship relationships), host in-person social events, and a faculty retreat every other year.
We meet the second Tuesday of every month from 12:00-1:00 pm via Zoom
Come join us for sisterhood, connection, and community! Send an email to Suzanne.Gillies@umassmed.edu and she will add you to the meeting invitation.
