2010 Psychiatry Research Day

Research Day 2010, was held on October 13. There were 153 attendees including staff, faculty, and community partners. The program started with a welcome and opening remarks by Douglas Ziedonis, MD, MPH, Professor and Chair of Psychiatry; Terence Flotte, MD, Dean; John Sullivan, MD, Vice Provost for Research; Walter H. Ettinger, MD, MBA, President, UMass Memorial Medical Center; and Ethan (Sam) Rofman, MD, Service Line Director for Mental Health, Veterans’ Administration, New England Healthcare System. The Keynote address, given by Vivian W. Pinn, MD, Associate Director for Research on Women's Health, Director, Office of Research on Women's Health (ORWH), National Institutes of Health (NIH), was titled:
“Moving Towards the Future Together: New Dimensions and Strategies For Women’s Health Research”
