Tariana Little to present at the 2015 Society for the Study of Social Problems Annual Meeting
Date Posted: Monday, February 23, 2015Tariana Little's research, "Of Margins and Measurement: Women and Food Insecurity" was accepted into a roundtable session ("Food and Inequalityâ) at the 2015 Society for the Study of Social Problems Annual Meeting (August 21-23 in Chicago, IL). Tariana's paper proposes a critical analysis of food insecurity and women and introduces alternative frameworks (human rights, intersectionality) to address food insecurity in the US.
This paper is part of an Independent Study (Gender, Health and Marginalization) facilitated through The Graduate Consortium in Women's Studies at MIT and mentored by CPHR Program Director Dr. Kate L. Lapane, PhD.
