Jeffrey Metzmaker receives 2012 Peer Recognition Award

Jeffrey Metzmaker, MD

Dr. Metzmaker began practice with our Medical Center as a private practice orthopedist and joined UMass Memorial Medical Group several years ago. During his tenure, he served as both president of our medical staff and surgical director of our Memorial Campus operating room. A specialist in joint replacement, he was nominated for this honor by our Medical Staff Executive Committee. Known for his people skills and his infectious laugh, he is much loved by his patients not only for his surgical outcomes but also for his warmth and compassion.
