Brief Bio
Dr. Loshe completed her undergraduate degree in Life Sciences and Italian Literature (BSc) at the University of Toronto where she graduated with Distinction. After a career outside of medicine, in Marketing and Banking, Dr. Loshe decided to pursue her long-standing passion in medicine. She received her Medical Degree (M.D.) from Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia where she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society, joining an elite group of physicians.
Dr. Loshe completed her Ophthalmology residency at Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit after which she practiced Comprehensive Ophthalmology in private practice in Worcester specializing in modern cataract surgery using advanced technology intraocular lenses and Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS). With an interest in training the next generation of Ophthalmologists, Dr. Loshe joined the faculty at UMass Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences
