T.H. Chan School of Medicine - Admissions
The T.H. Chan School of Medicine - Admissions process is the medical student’s first contact with UMass Chan, and will prove to be the first step in an ongoing relationship as one travels through the medical school years.
Student Affairs
The Office of Student Affairs provides advocacy for and support to medical students in pursuing their major role, which is to learn both the science and the art of medicine. The Office coordinates and supports many student events and programs. We also provide services to respond to the needs of our students including the schools Advising Program and Diversity & Minority Support programs.
Undergraduate Medical Education (OUME)
The Office of Undergraduate Medical Education (OUME) is a center for academic life where students can meet with faculty or peers, plan activities, discuss courses, receive academic counseling and enrichment or learn about the latest developments in medical education. In essence, the OUME serves as the hub for the numerous spokes that represent UMass Chan undergraduate medical education, providing educators with the resources needed for curriculum development, implementation and evaluation and ensuring a rich educational experience for students that includes a number of courses and electives throughout the 4 years of medical school.
