UMass Chan Medical School media fellowship

Chancellor Michael F. Collins welcomes the 2024 media fellows to UMass Chan Medical School.

UMass Chan Medical School’s award-winning media fellowship offers print, broadcast and digital journalists the opportunity to immerse themselves for two full days in a leading academic biomedical research institution, gaining access to our leaders and faculty as you develop story ideas, contacts, and a greater context for cutting-edge medicine and science reporting.

Overnight accommodations are available and all meals are provided.

  2025 UMass Chan Media Fellowship: Worcester, March 19-21, 2025   

UMass Chan Medical School will host reporters interested in health and science during 2025 UMass Chan media fellowship March 19-21, 2025. The fellowship is an opportunity for journalists to spend two full days with UMass Chan’s leaders and faculty. Reporters will get an inside look at the institution’s biomedical research, connect with experts and gain valuable insight to help shape future stories.  

UMass Chan will cover the costs for hotels and meals. Please note that attendees are responsible for their own travel to and from our Worcester campus.
