    Michael Flynn, MD, MHS

    Dr. Flynn has 20 years of experience in urogynecology and instructs fellows and residents in robotic, open, and vaginal surgery. With a degree in clinical investigation, he oversees the fellows' research efforts. Guiding the next generation of providers remains very important to him as he actively mentor students, residents, fellows, and faculty.

    Cynthia Hall, MD

    Dr. Hall grew up and trained in New York/New Jersey and then spent 10 years in Los Angeles at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as Director of the Center for Women’s Continence and Pelvic Health. UMass Memorial Medical Center is a wonderful place for her to practice because it supports her three primary passions: offering premier comprehensive patient care in a setting of congeniality and professional support, education of the next generation of leading-edge specialists in urogynecology, and continuing her work in Global Health in places such as Rwanda and Jamaica for women with urogenital fistulas and other birth trauma.

  • Emily Wu

    Emily Wu, MD

    Academic Role: Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology

    Medical School: Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science

    Dr. Wu was one of those medical students who liked multiple areas of medicine, so it was a leap of faith to decide on one specialty. However, an engaging surgical experience while rotating on the urogynecology service as a medical student captured her interest in treatments to improve quality of life. After her fellowship in urogynecology at Scott and White Hospital in Texas, she found the place that has the right balance of education, career development, and the support to deliver the highest quality care to patients with suffer from pelvic floor disorders.
