Neurology on the Hill 2024

Anindita Deb, MD, associate professor of neurology and neurosurgery, co-chair of the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders division is featured at the February 2024 Neurology on the Hill event, sponsored by the American Academy of Neurology (AAN).

This year, there was a strong showing from Massachusetts who met with their staff of local representatives and senators. Issues discussed include supporting the Safe Step Act (S.652/H.R. 2630), remedying the cut to Medicare Physician Fee Schedule conversion factor, and supporting medical research and funding for the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) and the BRAIN initiative.
