Chair, Neurology Department Tenure Committee

John Landers, PhD, professor of neurology, has accepted the position of Chair of the Neurology Tenure Committee. Dr. Landers has been a faculty member in our Department for 15 years. Before coming to UMass Chan, Landers was a faculty member of Harvard Medical School. He is an internationally recognized leader in ALS genetics research and has a history of extramural funding and high-impact scholarship, having co-authored ~100 peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Landers is recognized for his important contributions to service and teaching within and beyond UMass Chan. We are grateful to have the expertise of Dr. Landers, a high-caliber faculty member of our institution, to serve in this role.
