Who We Are
Wissam Deeb, MD, currently serves as the fellowship director and is actively involved in the education and mentorship of the fellow.
The UMass Movement Disorders Division currently includes five dedicated full-time faculty,
one full-time nurse practitioner, and a nurse navigator. The Neurology Clinic staff and a social worker provide additional clinical support. There is a functional neurosurgeon with training in DBS. All faculty will be directly involved in training and educating the fellow.
The UMass Department of Neurology cultivates a supportive environment for teaching and mentorship, and faculty are provided with sufficient time to dedicate to precepting, research training and mentorship.
