POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH
Molecular Neurobiology/Synaptic plasticity
A postdoctoral position is available to study molecular mechanisms that regulate synapse connectivity and function in the model organism C. elegans. Our research utilizes a multidisciplinary approach including genetics, imaging/microscopy and electrophysiology. The successful candidate will have an appreciation for the strength of model organism genetics and a strong desire to pursue electrophysiology studies. Candidates with prior experience in electrophysiology and/or C. elegans genetics preferred. The salary for this position is commensurate with experience as determined by NIH guidelines. Interested candidates with a Ph.D. in neuroscience or related field should send a brief description of research background and curriculum vitae to Dr. Michael Francis, Department of Neurobiology, 715 Lazare Research Building, 364 Plantation St., UMass Chan Medical School, Worcester, MA 01605 USA.
