Pain Management Curriculum
The UConn Macy Team produced a series of "model interviews" depicting pain assessment and negotiation interviews. The scenarios, which have been produced in DVD format, provide a rich opportunity for development of learners' pain management skills, and is accompanied by a Faculty Facilitator Guide. The modeling tapes and curriculum have been successfully used in workshop format, for teaching students at all developmental levels (1-4). The contents of the DVD can be sampled below. For additional information, contact UConn Team Leader Carol Pfeiffer, PhD.
