The research team at Lifeline For Moms has just won a $21 Million Award to study mental health equity in perinatal care. The research team will be led by Nancy Byatt, DO, MS’15, MBA, professor of psychiatry, obstetrics & gynecology, and population & quantitative health sciences. The team also includes Wendy Davis, PhD, executive director of Postpartum Support International, a nonprofit family support organization, and Christopher Sheldrick, PhD, professor of psychiatry at UMass Chan. Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) provided the generous award for the multi-year study.
