The UMass Chan Medical School Department of Neurology, Neuroimmunology Fellowship provides extensive opportunities to trainees within our intensive outpatient-based clinical training and research laboratories and trials.
The Neuroimmunology Center is home to the Multiple Sclerosis Clinic, Headache Clinic, and NICI Clinic located at the UMass Memorial Health University Hospital. Our Multiple Sclerosis Center Cliic is a unique facility and the largest academic MS center west of Boston, with a diverse patient population throughout central and western MA, northern CT, and southern NH.
The Neuroimmunology Fellowship allows clinical experience within a hospital-based multi-disciplinary facility for diagnosis and treatment of MS and related neurological disorders such as CNS lupus, vasculitis, or sarcoidosis. The program is also designed to provide research methods and teaching strategies about MS.
The fellowship program director is Idanis Berrios Morales, MD, assistant professor of neurology.
