Nancy Byatt Receives Outstanding Psychiatrist Award for Clinical Psychiatry from MPS

Nancy Byatt, DO, MS, MBA, FACLP, Medical Director of MCPAP for Moms, Executive Director of Lifeline4Moms, Director of Women’s Mental Health Division, Department of Psychiatry, and Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Obstetrics & Gynecology and Population & Quantitative Health Sciences at the UMass Chan Medical School, is the recipient of the 2020 Outstanding Psychiatrist Award for Clinical Psychiatry from the Massachusetts Psychiatric Society (MPS). The award recognizes contributions to the Society, the profession of psychiatry and evidence-based, high quality patient care.
Dr. Byatt has established nationally recognized, groundbreaking clinical programs for the treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. In her role as a reproductive psychiatric clinician, she has established diagnostic tools, treatment protocols, and ancillary educational services for hundreds of pregnant and postpartum patients. Dr. Byatt was presented with the award on November 10, 2020 at the MPS Annual Meeting 2020.
