Tim Gibson, MD - Tatnuck House Mentor
Tim Gibson grew up in Billerica, MA then went on to study Child Development at Tufts University. After working in a local ice cream parlour for a year, he went to medical school at the University of Massachusetts, graduating in 1999. He completed his Pediatrics Residency and Chief Residency at the University of Massachusetts from 1999-2003.
He currently is employed as a Pediatric Hospitalist at the Children’s Medical Center at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA. There he specializes in the care of hospitalized children. He is heavily involved in mentorship of both students and residents, and is a mentor in the Learning Communities at the UMass Chan Medical School. He has been recognized as an Outstanding Clinical Educator by the graduating 4th year students each year since 2003.
Tim lives on an apple orchard in Sterling, MA with his wife and five wonderful children. He has a passion for cycling and extreme sports.
