Dr. Rynczak presented at the 2024 Annual Convention of the American Psychological Association

two woman in business attire sitting on a stageDanielle Rynczak, JD, PsyD, ABPP, was chosen to give a “Featured Presentation” (less than 2% of presentations are chosen) titled: "Preventing Burnout: Sustaining Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Efforts in Public Service Settings", at the 2024 Annual Convention of the American Psychological Association on August 8-10, 2024. 

Dr. Rynczak co-presented with Gayle Iwamasa, the National Director of Inpatient Mental Health Service for Veteran’s Affairs, and Zeba Ahmad-Maldonado, a Clinical Psychologist at Veteran’s Affairs.

Abstract for the presentation: The session focused on the critical need for psychologists to engage in strategies to support ongoing DEI efforts both organizationally and clinically, while also emphasizing self-care. The audience will be invited to discuss strategies so that we can ensure DEI work is sustained by strong and well psychologist providers.
