Match Day

On Match Day, fourth-year medical students learn where they will be assigned for their hospital residencies. As they are called, one by one, to receive their match envelopes, each waits to open it until the signal when all students open their envelopes at once. Match Day, per Chancellor Collins, "is one of the most exciting days of the year. After four years of really hard work, (students) have hopes and dreams, and to see them realized is spectacular."
