Loretta Opoku (She/Her/Hers)

Loretta brings a wealth of experience and a passion for equity to the Office of Health Equity, having joined shortly after relocating to the United States with her family. With a background in journalism, she has connected with diverse communities, advocating for their needs and shining a light on critical issues affecting them. A graduate of the University of Ghana with a degree in communications, Loretta currently serves as the Administrative Coordinator, where she supports the office of Health Equity's recruitment efforts and also the iCAP program. In addition, she is the direct assistant to the Vice Provost, Milagros Rosal (PhD), playing a vital role in advancing health equity at UMass Chan Medical School.
