Why did you choose UMass Chan for your fellowship?
I chose UMass Chan for the Clinical Informatics fellowship after working on a major informatics project for the UMass Chan Internal Medicine Residency and UMass Department of Medicine. This project overhauled a major workflow responsible for tracking and distributing admitted patients. To build this upgrade, I worked closely with many members of the UMass Memorial clinical informatics team and was provided a glimpse into some of the exciting work being done at UMass. Completing this project and seeing the power of shaping the EHR and health system to empower providers and improve patient care cemented my decision to pursue this fellowship. I knew I had to be a part of the awesome work being done at UMass.
