UMass Chan awarded NIH S10 grant for in vivo imaging system

A team of UMMS researchers including BMP’s Miller and Han labs were awarded an NIH shared instrumentation grant for an IVIS Spectrum CT in vivo imaging system. When combined with bioluminescent and fluorescent imaging reporters such as those being developed in the Miller and Han labs, this instrument allows non-invasive detection of tumor growth, enzyme activity, and gene expression in live mice.
