2024 Department of Systems Biology Research Program
Why should I apply?
- Intense research experience in state of the art laboratories
- Travel and housing is paid for and arranged by the program
- Transportation is provided week days to and from the campus
- There will be plenty of networking and social opportunities among program participants and the Department of Systems Biology faculty and lab members
- A stipend will be provided
Eligibility
All participants must be at least eighteen years old, continuously matriculating at a 4-year college or University and must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to apply. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.70 or higher and be in good academic standing. Participants MUST have proof of health insurance coverage prior to acceptance to the program.

The application submission deadline is March 1, 2024.
Application Instructions
The online application must include the following upload documents:

- Copy of a current unofficial transcript
- Copy of previous undergraduate institution transcripts
- A personal statement (1-2 pages describing personal background interest & why you would like to be part of this program)
- Two (2) letters of recommendation (uploaded by recommenders)

- We will only accept 7 students to the program this year.
- Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled.
