Fitchburg Visiting Medical Student Electives

As of April 15, 2024, we will be accepting applications for visiting student rotations for the 2024-2025 academic year. Please apply through the VSAS/VSLO online application.

We have specifically designed our electives for the 4th year medical student who is interested in educational training opportunities with our Family Medicine residents. These electives are four weeks in length and you can choose from either inpatient or outpatient-based experiences.

The focus of all our electives is to acquaint you with the practice of Family Medicine and give you first hand experience with our program. Usually we can accommodate student requests; however, we advise that you secure a spot at least three months in advance of your desired rotation. 

At this time we are offering both elective FC-450 which is based at our Fitchburg clinic site and elective FC-400, which is our Sub-I based in HealthAlliance Hospital in Leominster.
