Jordan Howard-Young, MD (he/they)
Fellowship Director
Jordan is the Director of Psychiatric Services at the Family Health Center of Worcester as well as an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine and Community Health and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry within the UMass Chan Medical School. They also serve as Co-Director of the Certificate in Advanced Mental Health Care in Primary Care for the UMass Center for Integrated Primary Care.
Jordan is passionate about community psychiatry, public health and advocacy, anti-racism and anti-oppression work, substance use care, refugee and asylee care, gender affirmation, and the care of structurally-marginalized communities. Prior to entering medicine, they worked as a community organizer, union organizer, and policy analyst on national healthcare reform legislation. Within their clinical practice at FHCW, they are a member of the Refugee Team and the Gender-Affirming Care and Services Program. They are active in the FHCW Trauma-Informed Care Working Group and the UMass Department of Family Medicine and Community Health’s Diversity and Equity Action Plan. They also serve on the Worcester Family Medicine Residency’s Diversity in Recruitment (DIR) Committee and Structural Oppression and Anti-Racism (SOAR) Committee, including the LGBTQ+ Affinity Group, Curriculum Working Group, and Learner Equity, Empowerment, and Development Working Group.
They are a graduate of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and completed their residency and chief residency in family medicine at FHCW within the UMass Worcester Family Medicine Residency. They also hold a master’s degree in international development and health from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies in Denver, CO, where they focused on refugee health in the Middle East.
Jordan developed the Primary Care Psychiatry Fellowship over the course of their residency with the support of WFMR faculty and FHCW leadership before completing the training program themselves. They now serve as Fellowship Director.

Claudeleedy Pierre, MD (she/her)
Associate Fellowship Director
Claudia has been a faculty physician at FHCW since 2013 and also serves as an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine and Community Health at UMCMS. She completed a fellowship in surgical obstetrics at the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center and serves as Lead Provider of Perinatal Services at FHCW in addition to her role as Associate Program Director for the Primary Care Psychiatry Fellowship. She earned her doctorate of medicine at Brown University School of Medicine in Providence, RI, and is a graduate of the Boston Medical Center Family Medicine Residency.
In the face of critically limited mental health resource access in many structurally-marginalized communities, Claudia is a strong believer in the mission of the fellowship to increase the skills and comfort of primary care providers in delivering high quality mental healthcare to everyone. She has clinical interests in perinatal psychiatry, psychopharmacology, maternity care and women’s health, diabetes and chronic conditions, supporting diverse patients and learners, and anti-racism and anti-oppression advocacy.
She is active on numerous committees, including the Racial Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (REDI) Committee at FHCW, the Maternity Center Anti-Racism Task Force at UMass Memorial Health, and the UMass Department of Family Medicine and Community Health’s Diversity and Equity Action Plan. Within the Worcester Family Medicine Residency, she is a leader in the Diversity in Recruitment (DIR) Committee and the Structural Oppression and Anti-Racism (SOAR) Committee, including its Affinity Group for People of Color, the Curriculum Working Group, and the Learner Equity, Empowerment, and Development Working Group. She is the recipient of numerous awards for her teaching, mentorship, and advocacy work.

Charlotte Gonzalez (she/her)
Lead Psychiatric Clinical Coordinator (working with Stephany Geraldo Eierle.)
Charlotte is the Psychiatric Clinical Coordinator and Medical Assistant for the Integrated and Primary Care Psychiatry teams at the Family Health Center of Worcester. She coordinates services and provides panel management for the patients cared for by the fellowship director and fellow. She has been in the medical field for over four and a half years. She started her career in substance use and mental health at CleanSlate Addiction Treatment Center, where she worked as a medical assistant for three years.
She is drawn to work in mental health care because of her passion for helping patients and knowledge that stable access to quality care is a huge factor in allowing people to live happy and fulfilling lives. In addition, she has experienced that proper treatment, love, and support are essential to recovery and healing.
Charolotte is fluent in English and Spanish. She was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Massachusetts, where she lives with her husband, son and daughter.

Marie Hobart, MD (she/her)
Psychiatry Mentor to the Fellows
Marie is the Vice Chair for Public Sector Psychiatry and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at UMass Chan Medical School. She is the former Chief Medical Officer for Community Healthlink and continues to have an active clinical practice there. Marie has devoted her career to working in Community Mental Health for over 30 years. Her work has focused on the care of those with serious and persistent mental illness and comorbid addiction and developmental disabilities. She has served in psychiatric leadership for Community Healthlink since 1999, working closely with the physician staff as well as multidisciplinary providers throughout the agency.
Marie was the project lead for the Primary and Behavioral Health Care Integration Project. This SAMHSA funded initiative provided funding over 4 years to develop an integrated primary care clinic within the heart of the mental health center. It is intended to address the enormous morbidity and mortality of medical illness within this high risk population. She is also a consultant to the Fitchburg Family Practice Clinic and has worked with Dr. Linda Weinreb in the Homeless Families Project at the Family Health Center of Worcester. She is an active member of the Department of Psychiatry Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee and the Massachusetts Psychiatric Society Anti- Racism and Public Sector Committees.
She is a graduate of the Yale School of Medicine, and completed residency training in psychiatry at the Massachusetts General Hospital, a Harvard Medical School training program.

Kailey Face, MSW, LICSW (she/her)
Psychotherapy Supervisor
Kailey is a Specialty Behavioral Health Provider at the Family Health Center of Worcester, where she provides outpatient therapy services. Kailey has been working at FHCW since January 2022. She received her Master’s of Social Work degree from Boston University School of Social Work in 2017, where she also obtained certifications from the Lowy-GEM Program in Aging and Behavioral Medicine.
Kailey has clinical experience working in a variety of settings including a council on aging, an outpatient hematology/oncology and palliative care team, a dialysis clinic, in hospice care, and with a partial hospitalization program. Kailey is currently completing trainings in somatic-based therapy frameworks such as sensorimotor psychotherapy and yoga for emotional health and healing.
Kailey is most passionate about supporting folks on their healing journey from trauma, whether it be trauma related to natural disaster, war or community violence, childhood trauma and attachment concerns, or trauma related to systemic issues of oppression.

Tia Strong, LICSW (she/her)
Psychotherapy Supervisor
Tia is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker working at Family Health Center of Worcester as a Primary Care Behavioral Health Provider. She is new to the Primary Care Psychiatry team and will be providing psychotherapy supervision to fellows. Within her clinical practice at FHCW, she is a member of the OBAT team, HIV team, Gender-Affirming Care team, and she works with the OB team by meeting with perinatal patients with a history of substance use. She is active in numerous FHCW committees, including Trauma-Informed Care Working Group, Clinical Operations, Workforce Work Group, and Central Community Health Partnership and FHCW collaboration group.
She is a Simpact-SUD Scholar graduate from Simmons University where she earned her MSW. Her clinical interests include SUD/recovery/addiction, sexual health/sex therapy, gender-affirming care, trauma, anxiety disorders, nutrition, and chronic pain. Tia has a strong passion to provide accessible, equitable, and quality care for patients from all walks of life. She has completed numerous trainings in psychotherapy treatment modalities, including CBT, MI, Solution Focus, Internal Family Systems, and DBT.

Jee Yeah Park, PMHNP-BC (she/her)
Psychiatric Nurse Practice Mentor to the Fellow
Jee is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) currently serving the Family Health Center of Worcester. Her primary focus is to provide mental health care to the homeless population of the area. Jee is passionate about community psychiatry and is especially interested in topics like homelessness, PTSD, and the mental health of military personnel.
Originally from Korea, Jee immigrated to the United States, providing her with firsthand experience and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by immigrants. This personal journey, coupled with her professional education, makes her attuned to cultural sensitivity and diversity issues in mental health care.
Prior to becoming a PMHNP, Jee worked for a decade in emergency room settings and trauma centers. Her experiences witnessing countless mental health crises without sufficient community support or resources deeply impacted her. These experiences shaped her commitment to mental health, particularly for those lacking adequate support or resources in the community.
Jee earned her PMHNP degree from City University of New York, Hunter College.

Thaida Galindez-Correa
Psychiatric Clinical Coordinator (working with Ngan Tran)
Thaida is a Psychiatric Clinical Coordinator and Medical Assistant working with the Psychiatric Services Team at Family Health Center of Worcester. She coordinates psychiatric clinical services for specialty care patients and oversees management of psychiatric provider panels. She provides both administrative and clinical support, including scheduling, vital signs, telephone and pre-visit triage, record reviews, etc.
She has been in the medical field for two years. She started her career in 2017 as a CNA working in the psych / dementia field for three years. She graduated in 2022 as a medical assistant. She is drawn to work in mental health because her skills are particularly well suited to this position. She cares for patients as they recover, assists families through some of the most difficult times in their lives, and keeps our medical facility running smoothly.

Emma Howard-Young, MD (she/her)
Pediatric Curriculum Consultant
Emma is a pediatrician at the Family Health Center of Worcester. She also has a role in the Worcester Family Medicine Residency Program at UMass as the Children's Health Education Director. She is joining the Psychiatric Services team as a pediatric curriculum consultant this academic year to help pilot the pediatric track of the Primary Care Psychiatry Fellowship.
She has always loved taking care of children and their families and is passionate about primary and preventative care, with a focus on mental and behavioral health for children of all ages. During her pediatric residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA, she realized the scope of the child mental health crisis and then saw it magnified as the COVID pandemic affected children in unprecedented ways. She is dedicated to thinking about mental health challenges in culturally humble ways, working to de-stigmatize mental health diagnoses and treatment, and working to become more anti-racist in her practice and personal life. At Family Health Center, she is a member of the Trauma-Informed Care Working Group, which strives to make systemic improvements to all aspects of patient care.
She is a graduate of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and completed her pediatric residency and chief residency at Baystate Medical Center. She loves to spend time with her partner, Jordan, and their 1 ½ year old. She spends her free time baking and doing any kind of art or creative project.
