2023 - Ashley Mitton, PsyD Ashley completed her PsyD at Biola University in La Mirada, California. Her pre-doctoral internship was at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Santa Rosa, California. During internship, she worked in interdisciplinary teams with patients across the lifespan and received specialized training in addiction medicine. She gained expertise in incorporating humanistic interventions into evidenced-based primary care treatment, women’s health, and supervision and training. She then completed a two-year postdoctoral Fellowship in Primary Care Psychology and Medical Education at UMass Chan Medical School in the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health. |
2022 - Jenna Mullarkey, PsyD Dr. Mullarkey is an assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health at UMass Chan Medical School. She teaches in the UMass Chan Worcester Family Medicine Residency on their inpatient family medicine service, teaches doctoring and clinical skills at UMass Chan and maintains a clinical practice at Hahnemann Family Health Center in integrated primary care serving patients across the lifespan. Dr. Mullarkey received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology with an emphasis in integrated behavioral health. She completed her predoctoral internship at the Nebraska Internship Consortium in Professional Psychology - Munroe-Meyer Institute, in Omaha, Nebraska. She developed extensive experience in integrated behavioral health, with both pediatric and adult patients. Prior to her doctoral work she received a masters degree in applied developmental and educational psychology at Boston College. She is a graduate of the Fellowship in Primary Care Psychology and Medical Education in the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health at UMass Chan Medical School. |

2021 - Sara Pearson, PsyD Dr. Pearson is a licensed clinical psychologist and assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at UMass Chan Medical School. She is one of the core behavioral health faculty members within the Worester Family Medicine Residency. In this role, she provides teaching around behavioral science competencies for family medicine residents through both didactic and experiential approaches in the primary care environment. She also provides behavioral health consultation and clinical services for patients across the lifespan at the Barre Family Health Center. Her clinical interests include providing brief, evidence-based interventions in integrated primary care, delivering patient-centered, trauma-informed care, chronic pain management, behavioral sleep medicine, health behavior change, and chronic disease management. Dr. Pearson earned her B.A. in Psychology from Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts and completed her Psy.D. in clinical psychology at Antioch University New England in Keene, New Hampshire. She completed her predoctoral internship within the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine with a major rotation in Integrated Primary Care, and minor rotations in Bone Marrow Transplant & Oncology and Adult Sleep Medicine. She then completed a two-year postdoctoral Fellowship in Primary Care Psychology and Medical Education at UMass Chan Medical School in the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health. |
2020 - Ethan Eisdorfer, PsyD  Dr Eisdorfer is an assistant professor at UMass Chan Medical School – Baystate, and currently serves as the Director of Behavioral Science for the Baystate Greenfield Family Medicine Residency program. In this role, Dr Eisdorfer is responsible for the development and administration of the residency program’s behavioral science curriculum, and maintains a clinical practice. Additionally, he teaches patient-centered communication and clinical reasoning skills to medical students at UMass Chan Medical School. Dr Eisdorfer is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT). Dr. Eisdorfer received his PsyD in clinical psychology from the Rutgers University Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology. He completed his predoctoral internship at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System in Austin, Texas where he completed rotations in primary care behavioral health, PTSD, and eating disorders. He is a graduate of the Fellowship in Primary Care Psychology and Medical Education in the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health at UMass Chan Medical School. |

2018 - Jennifer Carty, PhD Dr. Carty earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology with a minor in health psychology from Wayne State University in 2016. She completed her pre-doctoral internship in primary care psychology through the University of Colorado School of Medicine Department of Family Medicine. Subsequently, she completed a two-year fellowship furthering her training in primary care psychology and medical education with UMass Chan Medical School Department of Family & Community Medicine. 2018 - Samantha Minski, PsyD A graduate of the University of Florida, Dr. Minski is a psychologist who specializes in health psychology and integrated primary care. Following graduation, she completed a two-year fellowship furthering her training in primary care psychology and medical education with the UMass Chan Medical School Department of Family Medicine & Community Health. 2016 - Molly Igoe, PhD  Joan Fleishman is a clinical psychologist and the Co-Founder of Tend Health. She previously was an Assistant Professor and Director of Behavioral Health in the Department of Family Medicine at the Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine. She has spent most of her career working in medical settings leading teams and building programs to forward the field of behavioral health integration in primary care. In 2020 she co-founded Tend Health, an organization that provides specialized, expert, low-friction mental health care to healthcare professionals. She holds the role of Co-CEO and clinician, providing educational offerings and clinical services to the healthcare professionals Tend serves. Dr. Fleishman completed her graduate training at Pacific University’s School of Professional Psychology with internship training at St. James Hospital – Behavioral Health Service. She then completed the Fellowship in Primary Care Psychology at UMass Chan Medical School. 2014 - Jeanna Lee, PhD  Jeanna Lee, PhD (she/her/hers) is the Assistant Director for Equity, Inclusion, and Campus Climate within the Diversity and Inclusion Office (DIO) and the Title IX Coordinator at UMass Chan. Dr. Lee is responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of policy and programming aimed at improving equity and inclusion throughout UMass Chan. She is specifically responsible for responding to complaints of discrimination and harassment from any group or individual on campus and implementing a Restorative Justice-based approach to improve the culture to benefit all learners and employees. Dr. Lee received her PhD in clinical psychology from Palo Alto University. She completed her predoctoral internship at Colorado West Regional Mental Health in Grand Junction. She is a graduate of the Fellowship in Primary Care Psychology in the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health at UMass Chan Medical School. 2012 - James Anderson, PhD Dr. Anderson received his PhD in clinical psychology from Western Michigan University. He completed his predoctoral internship at the University of Alberta Consortium. He is a graduate of the Fellowship in Primary Care Psychology in the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health at UMass Chan Medical School. 2012 - Juan Carlos Ramos-Ayes, PsyD Dr. Ramos-Ayes received his PsyD in clinical psychology from Ponce School of Medicine where he also completed his an internship in health psychology. He is a graduate of the Fellowship in Primary Care Psychology in the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health at UMass Chan Medical School. |
