Financial Aid

The Financial Aid Office at the UMass Chan Medical School is part of the division of School Services and administers Federal and Institutional student loans and gift aid for the T.H. Chan School of Medicing, the Morningside Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and the Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing. Additionally, the Financial Aid Office collects campus-based loans and the Medical School Learning Contract.

To be eligible for financial assistance, students must be accepted for admission into and be matriculated into a Degree-seeking program, must be enrolled at least half-time (additional enrollment requirements based on program), must be in good standing and be making satisfactory academic progress. 

Our staff is available for counseling regarding loans and general financial aid questions during our Tuesday and Thursday drop-in Zoom office hours! Please reach out to Financialaid@umassmed.edu for the current schedule (your will receive an auto-response with the schedule and Zoom links).  If you cannot attend our drop-in sessions, or have more detailed questions, also reach out to financialaid@umassmed.edu to set up a One-on-One session with one of our staff.
